Rad Dad Blog Hop

What are you doing for father's day? A few Close To My Heart consultants want to share with you what they are doing with one of the June specials called  Dad is Rad on this special blog hop.

If you came from Michelle Johns blog you are in the right place. After you check out my projects you can start the blog again by going to Wendy Kessler's blog who is the first of ten blog participants. The list of every one participating in the Rad Dad hop can be found on Melinda Everett's blog.

When I got this sweet stamp set in the mail last week I knew right away that it work well for a planned movie night celebration of my dear husband for Father's Day.

I used the stamp set to add a title to our movie ticket cricut invitations. I thought it would be fun to show home movies of our children growing up to celebrate their special father.

I made a two page layout  as decorations for the movie night.

I used the diamond stamp to make a cricut pattern to make multiple diamond chains. I made this in 2 colors (cranberry & lagoon) and then used the positive in the projects and the negative as a background for the layout

I used the diamond stitch stamp to add detail to the cricut cuts.

I cut out popcorn boxes on cricut and used the stamp set to design #1 rad dad accents.

My husband is more then a rad dad! He is also a great husband and a fantastic grand father. So much to celebrate!

The stamp set also comes with a free pattern for 3 cards and 2 layout pages. The directions are free and you can make them your own by changing the colors or design up a bit. I will be using one of the cards to accompany my husbands gift 2 Sundays from now. What will you make with this great workshop kit?

I would love to have you post your projects (and comments) on this blog to help encourage other paper crafters.
Don't forget you can see other consultants projects by starting at the beginning of the hop at Wendy Kessler's blog or checking out the list of 10 consultants doing this blog on Melinda Everitt's blog.

Always, Alayne
